1.2.5 Released!

1.2.5 was a difficult update, as I had to change many things regarding the way crops grow, but now, fruits can grow as well!

1.2.5 Changelog

New Additions and Changes

  • Added Fruits! Upon harvesting, instead of having to be replanted, fruits will automatically REGROW on the tree they grew on. No more swapping!
    • Apples are the first new fruit the player should unlock. The sapling costs $3K, and each tree can drop 1 to 3 apples, each going for $2. They are on par with the Turnips, being a great way to make money.
    • Oranges are for the more advanced farmers. Alike Apples, only 1 to 3 oranges drop from a tree, however, they go for $3 each instead, tying with the Squash for the best crop to farm.
  • Added the Dibbler! This new tool allows the player to dibble holes into the ground in order to plant all of the wonderful fruits mentioned above.
  • Added the Grain Seeds! Grain isn't an actual crop to farm, but it's used to regrow grass if you would all like to farm fruits going forward!
  • The Axe and Shovel are now completely free. This is to fix unplayability issues revolving around fruit trees.
  • The Tools tab now looks different! The cost of the items are now shown next to your mouse, and the item name of the actual item is shown on the bottom. This helps players identify what their buying.

Minor Changes

  • The version number is now shown in the Settings tab.
  • Visitors have more hats.
  • The Items Tab has been separated into multiple pages, similarly to the Tools tab.

Bug Fixes

  • Squashes now longer pretend to be potatoes.
  • Squashes now exist.
  • Cow Manure now longer "un-grows" strawberries.
  • Stumps now longer shoot pumpkins out of the ground. (No idea why this happened, fixed it though)
  • The Heavy Duty Shovel no longer staggers.
